High loft ceilings, crisp paint, fresh carpeting, and a very open and welcoming layout. Love the community for how it looks and I love my apartment that I found through this site. Nestled along Interstate 196, Grandville is a charming suburb with abundant amenities.
No grass, so we only go when the dog needs to get a bath anyways. It has been interesting living here to say the least... I really appreciate that it is pet friendly and there is a dog park in the complex. Neighbors are quiet few disruptions and I feel safe. I don't appreciate that management regularly enters our apartments unannounced. Easily the coolest looking apartments in the area for the price.

However, there is something which I would want to point out to all future residents regarding the security deposit which the management takes while signing the lease. So , the lease states that you have to return the apartment in the exact same condition in which it was delivered to you. BUT it also states that minor wear and tear is acceptable. IT clearly states that minor stains on the carpet is ok as long as there is no major damage to the carpets due to pet stains. When our lease ended, the community charged us 75$ carpet shampooing fee. I tried to reason this out with them , but it fell on deaf ears.

When we moved out , we had vacuumed the carpets and did not have any stain on them. We didn't own a dog or cat so stains on carpet were out of question. I pointed out to the management that the wordings on the lease agreement are contradictory to what the management is actually doing by charging us 75$ carpet shampooing fee. I failed to understand how the lease can state "minor carpet stains are ok " and then "charge the residents a 75$ shampooing fee" . This felt like some sort of money extortion strategy to me. So for all future residents , I would want them to be wary of these unsaid charges when signing the lease.

Don't have an insect, maintenance, or security problem. The stairway to my building is loud when people walk up it though. As far as price is concerned, I think its a bit much. I'm in a one bedroom for 670/mth, washer and dryer are shared for a building. Utilities are around a hundred for me. A studio is only 40 dollars cheaper with less square footage.
